How well do you sleep?
Today's focus is on sleep!. An often overlooked, but essential part of keeping our immunity high. When we sleep many restorative processes take place.
Please see below a short infographic with details of the importance of sleep, the effects of sleep deprivation and details on how much sleep we ideally need along with some ideas on how to sleep better.
There's also a link to a simple sleep calculator which helps you work with your body's sleep cycles so that you make the best of your sleep.
My favorite tip is to wear a sleep eye mask to keep my bedroom super dark. It might not be a trendy look but it works! I'm also not averse to taking a cheeky nap (or two) if my body is feeling tired.
Today's Recipe is for Simple Oat Cookies, perfect with a cup of tea or coffee and for your lunchbox - just don't eat all of them in one go!
